The 2009 St.Clair Wright lecture was held March 11.  The  guest speaker  was Katharine Robinson, director of Historic Charleston Foundation.  Her talk, "Preserving Charleston, one of America's Architectural Treasures",  talked about the work of the Historic Charleston Foundation  and emphasized the public support for the projects of Historic Charleston Foundation.   The talk was accompanied by many photographs of Charleston's historic buildings and an invitation for all of us to visit Charleston during  their spring home and garden tour season.

    For 2010, the St.Clair Wright lecture will take place  April 21 and the speaker will be Dr. Richard Moe of the National Trust.   The venue is not set yet.
     Dr. David Fogle, Professor Emeritus of Architecture  at the University of Maryland, founded and organizes the lecture series. 

    And on March 12, 2009,   Anne St.Clair Wright  was inducted into the Maryland Women's Hall of Fame in a small private  ceremony at the Miller Senate Office Building in Annapolis.   She was one of five women inductees for the year 2009.
